Ben Neuman

Ben Neuman studied Business Administration at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. He became interested in renewable energy with an emphasis in Solar in 2006. Taking on an entry level position as a solar installer, Ben quickly advanced from installer to a Senior Lead Solar Installer. Paving his way to Project Manager to Operations Manager and eventually Director of Operations. Ben has managed individuals and teams from estimating to installing PV systems. In 2012 Ben completed the Sunpower Advanced Design and Advanced Installation Certifications. He then procured his C-10 Electrical Contractors License in 2014. Ben is dedicated to Homegrown Energy Solutions LLC and to bringing their client the power of solar to their homes or businesses.

Jane Elliot-Hughes

Jane Elliot-Hughes, VP, Business Operations earned a BA from the University of Notre Dame and went on to earn her MBA from the University of California at Irvine. As a versatile business leader Jane has experienced various industries and roles throughout her career. With a background in the services industry Jane felt that there was an opportunity to crossover to the solar energy workforce in 2013. She is recognized as a go-to leader for key projects and initiatives at Homegrown Energy Solutions LLC. Jane’s key strengths is her ability to communicate, direct and efficiently balance resources and work load. She has experience wearing multiple hats when it comes to being a business owner.
